He was predeceased by: his significant other LaVerne Smith Johnson; his parents, Henry Y. Johnson and Ellie Woods Johnson; and his siblings, Willard, Marvin, George Johnson, Evelyn Bledsoe, Christine Laney and Madeline Self.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Johnson (Pam) of Grand Cane, LA, Becky McFadden (Joey) of Shiloh, LA, Kevin Johnson of Shiloh, LA and Brandon Johnson (Stefanie) of Keithville, LA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
