He is survived by: his wife Linda Rutherford; his children, David Rutherford (Amy), Matt Rutherford and Angela Thibodeaux (Chad); his grandchildren, Nathan Rutherford (Cecelia), Parker Rutherford, Emily Rutherford, Allison Rutherford, Ella Rutherford, Ava Thibodeaux and Cameron Thibodeaux; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Rutherford, Ivy Rutherford and Maddie Kate Rutherford.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Northwest Veterans Cemetery (7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA 71047).
