He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Ray Schauer; and his stepfather Thomas Hyer. He is survived by: his mother Vicki Amos Hyer; his daughter Tamara Scroggins; his sister Holly Schauer Borel; his stepbrothers, Tim Hyer and Brett Hyer; his grandsons, Cameron Huitt and Preston Huitt; and his sibling's children, Sarah Johnson, Adam Borel and Noah Borel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
