He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Brazell and Elaine Simmons Brazell; his brothers-in-law, Tracy Cedars and Robert Dale Long, Sr.; and his in-laws, Johnny and Juanita Bagley Long.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Long Brazell; his sister Donna Brazell Cedars; and his siblings-in-law, Burton J. Long (Gretchen) and Kayla Rascoe Long. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
