He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben E. Ramsey and Fern Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ramsey; his daughters, Casey Purvis (Timothy) of Shreveport and Erin Land (Robert) of Louisville, Mississippi; his siblings, Clara "Becky" Holcomb of Sibley, Renee Passmore (Phil) of St. Charles, Illinois and Ronald "Ronnie" Ramsey (Vicki) of Elm Grove, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Joshua Purvis, Jacob Purvis and Ramsey Land. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send donations to St. Jude, the American Legion, or the Disabled American Veterans.
