It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Ovella Sauer (Kenner, Louisiana), who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Anathole Sauer; her parents, Essie Agnes Lambert Ovella and Emile Ovella, Sr.; and her sister Janice Ovella Haddican. She is survived by: her children, Donna Sauer Carver, Stephen Jerome Sauer, Connie Sauer Rigdon (Harold), Sandy Sauer Boeckl (late Paul) and Sheri Sauer McLemore (Charlie); her grandchildren, Jessica Carver Gros (Steven), Nicholas Carver, Cody Rigdon, Hailey Boeckl, Anthony Pursley of Timothy, TJ, Pursley, Alexandria Luttrell (late Andy) and Tammy Sanders (Lee); and her brother Emile Ovella, Jr. (Henri). She is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
