She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. "Joe" Benoit; her parents, Elmo Evans and Clemence Evans; and her siblings, Wilbur Evans, Stanley Evans, Lloyd Evans and Betty Evans.

She is survived by: her sons, Martin Benoit of Bunkie, Randy Benoit (Melanie) of Thibodaux and Scott Benoit of Thibodaux; and her grandchildren, Theresa, Matthew, Rachel, Monica, Aaron and Andrew. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
