He is survived by: his former wife Wanda; his sons, Charles Greenwood, Jr. (Deishonda) and Carlos Greenwood; his wife Mable; the mother of his child Denesia Brown; his children, Nikita Williams and Kenneth Brown; his grandchildren, Charles (Raynell), Cyreek, Cyrus Greenwood, Leah Robertson, Anthony Alexis, Carmello, Invee, Chozen, AuJuan Marsalis, Demond Brown, Iman-LaShay Brown, LaMarco Brown and Nasir Williams; and his siblings, Marilyn, Carolyn Greenwood, Lucinda Brousseau (Darryl), Gloria Faye Smith, James Greenwood (Monica) and Walter Greenwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.
