He is survived by: his sons, Charles T. Metzler (Wendy) and John G. Metzler (Suzy); his sister-in-law Barbara Pierce; his granddaughter Julia M. Metzler; his stepgrandson Daniel W. Dennis, Jr. (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett and Olivia Dennis.
