Deborah Jackson Obituary

Deborah Smith Jackson passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the age of 62. She was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Percy "Sam" Smith and Ada Ulmer Smith. She was a resident of Kenner, LA and was a member of Celebration Church in Kenner. Debbie was previously employed by Herbert S. Hillar Co. until her disability.

Debbie is survived by her sons, Michael Cook (Robyn) and Scott Cook (Sara); her granddaughter, Skye; her siblings, Brenda Smith Doyle (late, Herbert) and Cindy Smith Bellanger (Irv); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her precious 4 legged babies: Hodge, Maxine, CoCo, and Maxie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, October 13, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a service starting at 1:00 pm followed by interment. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting help towards funeral expenses at https://www.gofundme.com.
