It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Briscoe Jr. (Kenner, Louisiana), who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Briscoe and Eloise Briscoe; his stepfather-in-law James A. Osum; his sister Vernell Briscoe (Nella); and his godson Barry Hudson.

He is survived by: his daughter Vernell (Nella); his wife Delores (Cookie); his daughter Kesha L Briscoe; his grandchildren, Zachary J. Shy Jr. and Taylor M. Peaden; his siblings, Debby Marshall (Kevin), Constance Bazile, Alona McDowell (Chester), Gregory (Ellen), Keith (Bernita), Byron (Doris), Eric (Surnise) and Jeffery Briscoe; his siblings-in-law, Doris Stewart (Ernest), Mose and Nathaniel Riley (Patricia); and his goddaughters, Amy Anderson and Rachelle Joseph (Chelly). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives and friends.
