She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Ducote and Gladys Ponthier Ducote; her husband Charles B. "Ben" Hausknecht Sr.; her children, David Hausknecht (Pamela), Sharon Ann Hausknecht, Charles Benedict "Benny" Hausknecht Jr. (Kristen) and John Randal Hausknecht; her great grandchild Benjamin; and her brothers, Fredrick and Russell Ducote.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rebecca, Allison, Brogan Caroline and Breelan Ann; and her siblings, Richard Ducote, Nadine Ducote Dejean and Gaynell Ducote. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, LA 70065). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
