He was predeceased by: his significant other June Borgstede Rabalais; his parents, James M. Rabalais, Sr. and Celina Taranto; his sister Celina Rabalais; his cousin Estelle Todaro; and his godson Bruce Taranto.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Rabalais (Sandy) and Julie Hastings; his son-in-law Dewey Hastings; his granddaughters, Brittny Toca (Derek) and Ashlyn Hastings (Tevin); his great grandchildren, Cameron Toca, Benjamin Toca and Alessandra June Toca; and also Cathy Amos (Robert). He is also survived by many niece's, nephews cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
