He was predeceased by: his mother Eloise Beatty; and his siblings, Marion Payne and Ray Lashmet. He is survived by: his wife Nancy S. Payne; his children, Lisa Payne Bolotte (Norman), Cheryl Payne, Steven Payne (Candie), Jennifer Payne Samuel (Jason) and Kevin Payne; his grandchildren, Ashley Payne, Jordan Walker, Samantha Payne, Amanda Payne, Jenna Samuel, Dallas Payne, Kyle Payne and Brooklyn Payne; his great grandchild Paris Payne; his siblings, Hugh Marshall Payne and Phyllis Beatty; his niece Haley Ridgel; and his nephew Stuart Ridgel.
