She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Jesse James, Sr. and Dolly Johnson James; and her brother John Lee Edmonds. She is survived by: her close friend Earl L. White; her children, Semone James, Steven James, Earl James and Jessica James; her grandchildren, Kendell, Kendall, Le'andre, Karle, Sky, Lindell, Anthony, Brandon, Takeion, Kyree, Jada, Nyla, Nisha, Ty'giera and Jeor'jai; and her siblings, Joan C. Vaughn, Jessica Lott, Ingrid James, Jesse James, Eddie James, Bruce James and Nannette James. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
