He is survived by: his wife Ellen Kay Baker Ved; his sons, Shaun Ved (Nicole) of Metairie, LA and Mark Ved of Metairie, LA; his grandson Frank Kirit James Ved; and his sisters, Bakula Parikh (Prakash), Geeta Parikh (late Kirit Parikh) and Sandhya Shah (Mayank). He is also survived by four nephews and one niece.
