He is survived by: his sister Wilma Jean Gray Smith; his children, Regina Ann Smith of Kenner, LA., Gary Avery of Mendenhall, MS, Marcus Avery of D'lo, MS and Louis Fletcher (Raven) of Flowood, MS; his sisters, Betty Deloise Cameron (James), Virginia Durr Magee (Jimmy) and Sharon D of Washington; his sisters-in-law, Mary Alice and Ida Mae; his son Christopher Danielle Bowen; and his siblings, Maggie Lee Smith Barnes (Sandy), TJ (Oretha), AC, Johnny and Grady. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren, ten Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great grand son.
