It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Jorge Schmidt (Kenner, Louisiana), who passed away on May 22, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Jorge and Concepción Schmidt (Conchita). He is survived by: his wife Irma I. Schmidt; his daughters, Claudia Margarita Schmidt (Giovanni Garcia) and Irma Patricia Schmidt-Cryer (Jon Cryer); his granddaughter Olivia Isabel Cryer; his sister Lola Stanton (Bill Stanton); and his nephew Travis Stanton.
