Pittman in Kenner, Louisiana, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Pittman and Lois Smith Pittman; his wife Jennifer Pittman; his siblings, Rose Toliver, Inez Pittman, Verna Bradford, Earlean Garner, Raymond "Pete" Pittman and Lucian "Tom" Graham; and his close friends, Roger Phillips and Phillip Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughter Katarina Pittman; his grandchildren, Leon K Williams Jr. and Jennifer N Williams; his siblings, Wilhamena Taylor (Ellis), Clifton R Pittman and Leonard Pittman; and his nieces and nephews, Samaria N Palmer-Williams and Willis K Baird. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greater St. James Temple Church of God in Christ (2131 Wright Ave, North Chicago, IL 60064). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warren Cemetery (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031).
