With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert R Wedig Jr. of Kenner, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Wedig, Sr. and Audrey Fossier Wedig. He is survived by: his former wife Christine S. Wedig; his daughters, Jessica Ragas Harrell (Patrick) and Tobi Wedig Ballentine (Mathew); his grandchildren, Peyton Harrell, Elliana Harrell, Owen Ballentine, Gavin Ballentine, Colin Ballentine and Amelie Ballentine; and his siblings, Danny Wedig, Keith Wedig (Carol), Ricky Wedig (Cindy) and Patricia Wedig Glass (Ronnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
