She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Lara and Rosa Alava Lara; and her siblings, Paco Lara, Edison Lara and Lourdes Lara (Wilson Lara).
She is survived by: her husband Moises Almodovar; her children, Shirley Almodovar and Glen Almodovar; her grandchildren, Glen Enrique Almodovar, Gavin Aaron Castro and Devin Stefano Castro; and her sibling Euclides Lara (Bolivar Lara). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
