With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Thomas Wolverton Jr. in Kenner, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Rose Pipitone Wolverton; his brother Darryl Wayne Wolverton; his parents, William Thomas Wolverton, Sr. and Mildred Casler Wolverton; and his wife Joan T. Wolverton.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry Patrick Wolverton (Susan), Courtney Allison Wolverton (Eddie), Wendy Wolverton Cottrell (Guy), Eric Christopher Wolverton (Norma), Kristen Arianne Wolverton and Michael David Wolverton; his grandchildren, Melanie Wolverton, Patrick Wolverton, Jessica McMaster (Tony), Tammy Lagman (Chad), Timothy Jeansonne, Chloe Jeansonne, Caroline Hargis (Steven), Billy Lewis (Sandra), Wendi Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Philip Lewis (Maria), Hayley-Jo Lewis and Rosalie Wolverton; his great grandchildren, Daisy, Kenzie Wolverton, William Wolverton, Willow Rogers, Anthony Scaffidi (Samantha), Angelina Gallo (Garrett), Christopher Gallo Jr., Logan McDaniel, Holly Hargis, Brandon, Jacob Lewis, Aiden and Adrian Lewis; his great great grandchild Claire Scaffidi; and his sisters, Barbara Wolverton Murray (Micky) and Mary "Susie" Wolverton Casanova (Kirk).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
