He is survived by: his wife Betty Simpson; his daughters, Melissa Simpson Stutzman (Buddy) and Kay Simpson; his daughter-in-law Gretchen Varnado Simpson; his grandchildren, Brooke Speed (Dan), Kayla Johnson, Micah Simpson and Sarabeth Simpson; and his great grandchildren, John, Lily Speed, Murphy and Finley Evans.
