Dennis L. Price Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis L. Price of Kentwood, Louisiana, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Price and Faye Price; his in-laws, Billy and Linda Alford of Tylertown, MS.; and his close friends, Sam Raborn, Ellis McKnight, Nelson Lea, Gerald Jenkins and Robert "Red" Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shari Alford Price; his daughters, Cassie Simpson (C. J.) of Blessing, TX and Haley McMichael (Josh) of Kentwood; his grandchildren, Gabe, Brennan, Rhett, Waylon Simpson of Blessing, TX, Laurel and Judd McMichael of Kentwood; his sisters, Virginia McKenzie (Henry) of Kentwood and Sue Connelly (Phil) of Kentwood; his sister-in-law Cindy Polk (Charles Ray); and his close friends, Hubert Yarborough, Barry Bridges, Quincy Molland, Wendell Anthony, Sid Hughes and Bill Birch. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Taylor Creek Baptist Church (1936 LA-440, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Tylertown Cemetery.
