He was predeceased by: his parents, Starkey Moore and Marylou Moore; the mother of his children Tina Lynn Starkey; and his grandson Alex Lane Starkey Kirkland. He is survived by: his children, Lenore Starkey, Steven Starkey (Samantha), Tony Starkey, Tonya Collins (Jason) and Leslie Shaffett; his siblings, Judy Terrell (George) and David Starkey; his girlfriend Patricia Starkey; his grandchildren, Chesli Starkey, Hope Andrews, Paige Gros (Nicholas) and Jason Collins, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Cayson Hull and Riley Gros.
