He was predeceased by: his wife Hilda F. Smith; his parents, Elbert L. Smith, Sr. and Ellen S. Smith; and his sister Joy Smith Stegner. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Rosamond (Charles) and Tammy Smith (Michael); his grandchildren, Stormie Rosamond McNabb (Colby), Dustin Rosamond (Madison), Tyler Dover and Abagail Dover; his siblings, Carolyn Smith Baxter (Henry) and Elbert Lea Smith, Jr. (Wanda); and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Logan Rosamond and Creed McNabb.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKneely Funeral Home of Kentwood Thursday (501 Ave G, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
