Anthony of Kentwood, Louisiana, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband William Anthony; her daughter Terri Lynn Anthony; her parents, Albert Bennett and Velma Bennett; her siblings, Rachel "Sis" Cox and Herman "Dick" Bennett; and her daughter-in-law Jeanette Anthony.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ainsworth, Wanda Bridges (Barry), Albert Anthony and Wendell Anthony (Linda); her grandchildren, Angelia Miller (Adam), David Anthony (Tiffany), Lynne Mizell (Christopher Traylor), A. J. Anthony, Brian Ainsworth (Sybil), Krystal Ainsworth, Brittany Smith (Jared), Blake Leonard (Katelyn), Barrett Bridges, Blaine Bridges, Kirstin Gokey (Michael) and Ryker Anthony (Malyn); her stepgrandson Kevin Bridges; and her close friend Ola Mae. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, and nephews.
