She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Dent and Olivia Preston; and her siblings, Karen Dent, Cynthia Francois, Vanessa Preston, Kenneth, Larry, Ernest Dent and Tyrone Preston.

She is survived by: her children, Shantell Preston Marshall and Lakita Preston; her sister Cathy Dent; her granddaughter Ari; her son Randy Sr.; her siblings, Richard Preston Sr. (Tamesia) and Marie Preston; her grandchildren, KiA, Ki'Ante', Ja'Vonte', Merrill Marshall Jr., Ra'Nya Baloney, A'Riginae Jupiter, Rendy Alexander, Randy, Randen, Rashad, Ray'lon, A'Riyah, A'hrianna, Ray'lan Preston, Aniah Girod and Gabrielle Alexander; her great grandchildren, Noah, Nash Scott, JaSahd Marshall, Jae'Cei, JaySohn Davis, De'Ari Lane, Rai'Den, Rhaza Preston and Ki'Yeir Sylve; her siblings-in-law, Tamesia Preston and Charles Francois; her godchildren, Marty Stockman, Brandi Leleaux and Makalyn Bradley; her nephew Alfred Preston Sr.; her godson Darrell Harris; Robert Tellock, Margie Bennett, Nicole Raymond, Marlene, Marie Preston and Eric Neal. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew's other relatives, and friends.
