He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Langley and Juanita Fontenot Langley; and his sisters, Ellen Matthews and Carolyn Manuel. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Lee Langley; his daughters, Susan Sanders (William Jr.) and Alisha Johnston (Jesse Parault); and his grandsons, William "Trey" Sanders III and Malachi "Kai" Sanders. He is also survived by his cousins, who were more like brothers, and his nieces and nephews.
