She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas Dassinger; her parents, Grady Metts and Ann Metts; and her sisters, Sandra Harris, Susan Wallace and Penny Metts.
She is survived by : her children, Andy Pitts (Amy) of Dry Creek, Donna Buxton (Leo) of Oberlin and Tony Pitts of Oberlin; her siblings, Peggy Metts (Larry) of Royston and Shirley Metts Brown (Lanny) of Stockbridge, Georgia; and her close friend Lanell Stockman of Mittie. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
