She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Loc Nguyen and Thoai Thi Vo; her daughter Thanh "Loan" Sawyer; her grandson Michael Sawyer, Jr.; her daughter Dawn Renee Clark (Chris); her grandchildren, Duy Nguyen (Vy), Jennifer Nguyen and Tre'ven Prudhome; and her great grandchild Flynn Nguyen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons - Kinder (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648). A repast will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Hall (315 N 14th St, Kinder, LA 70648).
