With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Beth Turkin of Lacombe, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Beth left this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sheppard and Nettie Sheppard; and her brothers, Chuck Sheppard and Jeff Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Turkin; her daughters, Randi Turkin (Collin) and Kelly Turkin (Amber); her grandchildren, Olivia Turkin, Aiden Faye and Julien Whiting; and her siblings, Carolyn Opsal (Steve) and Scott Sheppard (Melissa). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redemption Church (62060 LA-434, Lacombe, LA 70445). A repast will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Redemption Church and/or the Northshore Humane Society, or simply asks that friends and loved ones carry her legacy forward by practicing kindness and unconditional love, just as she did.
