It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kris Green Wamsley of Lacombe, Louisiana, born in Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leon, Vurel Wamsley, John Henry and Doris Boyet. He is survived by: his parents, Kurt Wamsley and Judy Wamsley; his sisters, Holly McNeese and Tiffany McNeese Jenkins (Mike); his siblings' children, Abigail Durham, Lauren Durham, John Robert Durham, Maddie Jenkins and Eli Osborne; his aunt Kay; his uncles, Larry Deckerhoff and Mike Breland; and his cousins, Barron Deckerhoff (Brittany), Brittany Deckerhoff, Amy Williams (George) and Matt Breland.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (541 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Bogalusa in Kris's memory.
