He was predeceased by : his spouse Gaynel Hughes; his parents, Raymond Anthony Hughes Sr. and Catherine Boote; and his siblings, Gerald P. Hughes and Cheryl Boote.

He is survived by : his children, Kerri Wroblewski (late Jefferey) and Raymond A. Hughes III (Vicki); and his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan Wroblewski, Alexander and Raymond A. Hughes IV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
