We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2022, at the age of 81, Robert Barney of Lacombe, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ashbel Barney and Georgianna Vandemark; and his siblings, Alberta Holden, Ashbel Barney, Jr., Janet Strickland and Ralph Barney.

He is survived by : his children, Bobbie Golemon (Larry), John Barney (Danetta) and Vance Barney (Nicole Young); his grandchildren, Kayla Spell (Josh), Kevin Golemon (Ashton), Krista Kachtik (Kane), Marilee Brinson (Daniel) and Karlee Parkhurst (Brac); and his sisters, Peggy Duncan, Alice Harvey and Nancy Blanchard. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
