He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Gary and Marie Roberts; his wife Sandy Gary; his children, Vicki Courville and Allan Gary; his grandson Jessie Courville; and his brothers, Carroll Gary and Sidney Gary.

He is survived by: his children, Francis Gary (Barbara), Albert J. Gary, Jr. and Cheryl LeBlanc (Ricky); his siblings, Mary Ann Hart (Bill) and Robert "Bobby" Gary; and the mother of his children Annick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
