She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“For those who did not know Alicia, she was the Director of the Computing Center at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) for many years. She had long gray hair and was a wonderful person. It was great knowing her all these years. I wish her family and friends faith, comfort and peace in this time of loss.”
