She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. Reed Jr.; her parents, Geneva Thibodeaux (Moon) and Princely Durand (IE); her son Walter Anthony Reed III; her siblings, Carlton Provost, Mary Ann Charles and Sylvia Bergeron Castillo; her nieces, Phyllis Hypolite Taylor and Sandra Charles; and her grandparents, Preston and Melvina Leon Thibodeaux.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hillary Reed of Lafayette, LA, DeQuincy Walter Reed and Jailen Joseph Reed of Seattle, WA; her stepgranddaughters, Haylee Hembree and Kylah Simmons of Des Moines, WA; her great grandchildren, Tahj Freeman, Tai Freeman, Harlan Harmon, Karter Cole Reed, Kylie Rae Reed, Jaiden Barbers, Jaylyn Reed and Kaeson Hembree; her sister Mae Audrey Durand Hypolite (Curley) of Houston, TX; her aunt Linda Thibodeaux Johnny (Eddie) of Stockton, CA; her godson Harold Hardy (Hilda) of Beaumont, TX; her uncle Hildred Durand (Zenora) of St. Martinville, LA; her daughter-in-law Leanne Sahli-Reed of Des Moines, WA; her sibling's children, Jennifer Charles, Janice Hypolite, Denise Hypolite, Vanessa Jones, Stephan "Tony" Hypolite, Dwayne Hypolite and Kendrick Bergeron; and her friends, Lillian Clement, Marie Mouton, Eva Potier, Annabelle Thibodeaux, Shirley Alexander, Edna Johnson, Ruby Celestine, Betty John and Stephanie Babineaux.
