He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Salters; his siblings, Mary Enola Kimani, Cora Manuel, Sadie Rideaux, Louise Harvey, Sandra Faye Dees, Sharon Wheeler, Melvin Briscoe Jr. and Gerald Briscoe; his grandchildren, Dexter and Jordan Salters; and his great grandchildren, Jayla Salters and Alexis Antoine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (2300 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507).
