He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hayes, Jr. and Albertha Collier Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Juanita McGlorie Hayes; his children, Damon Hayes and Courtney Bonnet; his grandchildren, Morgan Hayes, Madison Ned, Trinity Hayes and Trace Hayes; his siblings, Chris Hayes, Anthony Hayes, Vernil Breaux (Wilson, Jr.) and Gaynell Rubin (Leroy); and his godchildren, Janya Walker and Jeremy Francis, Jr..
