He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Fisher, Sr. and Theresa Jones Fisher; his child Frankena Briley Fisher; and his brother Julian Whitmore, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Arthur Joseph, Jr. (Gonzales) and Marye Antoinette Chow "Toni" (Jimmy) of Tyrone, GA.; his siblings, Bobby Fisher (Harriet) of Opelousas and Marie Pitre (Glenn) of Washington; his grandchildren, Ashley Fisher, Tiffany Fisher Van Horn (Thomas), Christopher Frank Chow and Mitchell Garner Chow (Shannon); and his great grandchildren, Thoms Van Horn, Isolde Van Horn and Alexander Van Horn (Nelda) of Opelousas.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in his memory made to the American Legion Post 209 in Washington or the Wounded Warrior Project.
