He was predeceased by: his parents, Askew Ross and Fannie McVay; his grandson Cotè Kohutek; and his sister Francis Volk. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Lee of Lafayette; his children, Jerre K. Ross (Joyce) of Nevada, Brent A. Ross (Melissa) of Houston and Debra R. Landry of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Teague, Bailey, Joshua, Shannon (Ray), Dylan, Taylor, Cade, Aaron (Heaven), Joey (Michelle) and Tonya (Larry Jr.). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and numerous dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
