It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bernhardt Campo of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Thomas Campo; her parents, Sabastian Bernhardt and Kathryn Bernhardt; her daughter Charlene Campo; and her siblings, Kathleen Bernhardt, Linda Kjerstad, Ann Maresh, Marie Thorell and Leonard Bernhardt.
She is survived by: her children, Renee'Wilson (Paul) of Sugarland, TX, Lisa Marshall (Randy) of Lafayette, LA, Kathy Smith (Bob) of Gilbert, AZ, Toni Broussard (Tommy) of Lafayette, LA and Gregory Campo (Crissy) of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, James Bernhardt of Dickinson, ND and Margie Focht (Gene) of Hebron, ND; her grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Grace Campo, Alyssa Marshall, Christian Marshall, David Broussard, Blake Smith and Gregory Campo; her great grandchildren, Gavin and Owen Marshall; her granddaughter-in-law Chelsey Marshall; her grandsons, Ryan Marshall, Michael Broussard and Riley Smith; and her caregivers, Christina M., Katie Comeaux and Betty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
