She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Lee Herring; her parents, Annie Mae Dubois and Nores Dubois; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Dubois King, Nores Dubois Jr. and Donald Dubois.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Herring Zamora of Abbeville, Sandra Herring Landry (Reynold) of Lafayette, Russell "Rusty" Herring (Catherine) of New Iberia and Michael Kyle Herring (Julie) of Lafayette; and her sister Rebecca "Becky" Dubois Carroll (Charlie) of Kaplan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
