He is survived by: his wife Mary Abrams of Lafayette; his daughter Megan Michelle Abrams of Madison, Wis.; his mother Ida Broussard Abrams of Baton Rouge; his stepson Don Jayamaha Jr. (Niying Yao) of New York; his siblings, Julie Lazare (Kerry) of Baton Rouge, David Abrams (Andrea) of San Antonio, Nelson Abrams, Jr. and Neal Abrams (LaTashia) of Houston; and his caregiver Alexandra.
