He was predeceased by: his parents, Dovey Marie Comeaux and Wildy Paul Bourque; and his brother Stacy "Pork Chop" Bourque. He is survived by: his daughters, Skyler Comeaux Hollier (Merle Hollier, Jr.) and Kennedi Comeaux; his stepson Cayden VanMatre; his grandchildren, Aubrie Hollier and Jaxon Hollier; the mother of his children Kristy Champagne; his daughter Jenn VanMatre; and his sisters, Mona Campbell (Ray Campbell), Katherine Castille (Aubrey Castille), Gail Roy (Sidney Meche) and Linda Bouillion (Ronald Bouillion).
