He was predeceased by: his father Billy Joe Poindexter; and his grandparents, Joe, Thelma Poindexter, James and Esther Newman.
He is survived by: his significant other Angie Venable Redrick; his mother Betty Newman Poindexter; his sister Alison Poindexter Seal (Gary); and his nephew Nicholas Seal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
