He was predeceased by: his father Merlin "Toot" Nugent; the mother of his children Tammy Lynn Prudhomme; his sister Angela "Angie" Nugent; his daughter Shantel Nikki Prudhomme; his son-in-law Marvin J. Lyons; and his great grandchild Ashton Ware.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hebert Nugent of Sunset; his daughters, Tiffany Prudhomme Lyons of Branch and Casey Lynn Prudhomme (Gabriel "Gabe" Borel) of Sulphur; his siblings, Aaron "Spud" Nugent of Sunset, Audie Nugent (Chris) of Sunset and Shelly Nugent Albrecht (Richard) of Shreveport; his grandchildren, Jaysa Prudhomme, Jazzlyn Prudhomme, Tyson Lyons, Jayden Rigsby and Nova Borel; and his great grandchild Kade Ware. He is also survived by nephews and a niece.
