It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Broussard Sam (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Broussard and Edolia Broussard; and her siblings-in-law, Dudley, Syble Sam, Mary Nell Davis, Sandra Sam, Wilbert and Curtis Sam.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Sam; her children, Jason Sam and Tamika Sam; her grandchildren, Jason Sam, Jr., Ja'nasia Sam and Ra'miyah Sam; her great grandchild Massiah Arceneaux; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Sam Wiggins and Norma Viltz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She would love to donate her rosaries to loved ones in the family or to anyone who needed one for a funeral.
