She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Sonnier and Yola Sonnier; her husband Robert Phillips; her siblings, Eugene, Wilbert, Phillip Sonnier, Jr., Peggy, Shelia and Sheryl Sonnier; and her parents-in-law, Julia "Momma T" Phillips and Arthur Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine McClue of Lafayette, LA and Chantelle Fletcher (Neil) of Richmond, TX; her grandchildren, Nya, Asia, Lalia McClue, Jordan and Levi Fletcher; her siblings, Raymond Sonnier (Diane), Harold Sonnier (Gail), Barbara Reaux, Connie Davis (Al) and Mary Alex; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice (Sherrod), Ida (James), Wayne (Geneva) and Oscar. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Syrie Funeral Home from 12:00 p. m. until 2:00 p. m. All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
